Love Live Nozomi Photoshoot

If you've been following my blog from the start you'd know that I dabble into cosplay every so often and when there's a convention coming up I'll usually make something.

Most recently I wore a cosplay for one of my Club's events (a cosplay photoshoot).
Nozomi has always been my favourite character of Love Live School Idol Music Festival, even before I watched the anime. I just love how she has the loving aura with her puppy dog drooped eyes and she's the 'mother' of the team~

My favourite card (Okay....up until the White Day March 14th Event) is:

So because I'm slightly masochistic I decided to make the outfit wig and all.

I'm not going to post progress photos because mainly...I didn't take any but I'll post photos from the 2 photoshoots I had done. ^3^

Going in chronological order in this post I'll just upload the photos that were taken at Uni. Eddy and Bryan were taking photos/helping on the day so thank you guys \(owo)/

Eddy was the photographer for this phoot and we found this nice wall of leaves around campus. Thanks Bryan for helping (owo)~
Luckily I could fit into the alcove and there weren't a lot of tourists at the time.

That's all for this post~ Just a short update.

I'll post another update hopefully in a week or so!

The Local Bean - Cafe Wanderings

Today I caught up with a friend and we went to a small cafe in his local area.

It was pretty busy although it was smack bang in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon when presumably people are working or at school.
The Local Bean recently opened up in Castle Hill's Knightsbridge area and my friend really wanted to see what the fuss was about (❁´▽`❁)

All of the inside was taken up already so we found a nice spot in the shade. Luckily due to the aspect of the shop the sun was setting away from us so we were seated safe, out of the sun.

I ordered a Latte and he ordered the Iced Chocolate.  My coffee was pretty smooth and I was really pleased with it (*^◇^)_旦 I'm sure my friend enjoyed his Iced Chocolate because he drank it really fast!

The Steak Sandwich was quite tassty, really simple fresh flavours. Sadly the steak was a little tough but the onions made up for it (*⌒∇⌒*)
The Chicken Burger looked quite good so I might try it out if I go there again *wink**wink*

I think overall if you're in the area and looking for a decent coffee and bite to eat I think it's a nice spot to pop into. It's one of the only Cafes in the area so it's not hyper competitive with other places but the service is really really friendly.

All for now~

IKEA Homewares Haul!!

Last week I popped into IKEA, somewhere I haven't been for more than two years, and I bought quite a few itms form y room. I've been meaning to change somethings around and  have been looking for more different storage options. I've also been into burning scented candles and wax melts recently - particularly the Dusk wax melts. Iv'e been meaning to pick up some multiple wick candles and IKEA had some really nice smelling ones.

The Sinnlig candles are single wick and the Lugga Candles have 2 wicks. They had one that had 3 wicks but I didn't want to carry so many goods >A<

I also picked up some miscellaneous jars and pump jar. The mug was actually because I really loved the colour and it was pretty cheap~ The quality is good and it's a nice size to hold in my hands.

Some air  tight containers that I can easily use to take to uni and or work! Great to pack lunches~

I can never leave IKEA without getting few meters of their fabric. The quality it superb and for the price it's pretty reasonable (at least here in Australia). I'll probably use the fabric to make some tote bags and possibly a bag for uni this year.

Originally I was only supposed to get some fitted sheets for my bed this time around /3\ Whoooppppsss~ The throw was just something I saw and thought would be useful~ It's quite comfortable and I can use it when I'm using my computer and need some warmth in the winter.

The last thing I purchased (there was a lot haha!) was this^ Once it's all unpacked and set up it actually looks like...

This! They're just storage boxes~ And because they're made of paper I'm not sure how long they'll last realistically but hopefully long enough to get their money's worth. They're quite sturdy so if I take enough care of them they should go a long way.

So that's it. No more spending at IKEA, and hopefully no more candles, I have enough for the winter...I think...

But no, that's all!
For now,

I am also going to T2 Hell.

I succumbed to the joy of drinking overpriced loose leaf tea.

I finally caved in to buying loose leaf teas from T2...and they're delicious 。(⌒∇⌒。)

Before getting my job I didn't have much of a run in with T2, mainly because it was far too out of my price range and I just never really ventured into that part of Sydney CBD where its store lies. Now that I'd visited the store on more than a few occasions I finally succumbed to trying some of their blends that I'd been eyeing on for a while.

As a love of earl grey teas I wanted to get one of their versions of the classic, but unfortunately nothing really drew me in. Arctic Fire was one of their recommendations for something similar but not Earl Grey. It's quite sweet but it's really delicious!

Monk Pear was actually a tea that my friend picked up and upon smelling it I knew I needed to get it. I love earl greys and especially when they have a Jasmine undertone tooヽ(´▽`)ノ

I also picked up a few tea strainers just because I didn't have any at home, nor did I have a teapot that could strain loose leaf tea. The ones at T2 we're a little out of my price range but when I looked at the Kitchen supplies store they were only $3 each so I picked up the one with the teapot attached.

I've found that this year has place a lot of things in perspective for me. Whilst I've discovered new hobbies and interests I've also found that I need to better balance the way in which I go about things. With the new semester coming up and I'm still working I need to know how to manage everything more effectively, something that I struggle with. Here's to a better 2015!
