I succumbed to the joy of drinking overpriced loose leaf tea.
I finally caved in to buying loose leaf teas from T2...and they're delicious 。(⌒∇⌒。)
Before getting my job I didn't have much of a run in with T2, mainly because it was far too out of my price range and I just never really ventured into that part of Sydney CBD where its store lies. Now that I'd visited the store on more than a few occasions I finally succumbed to trying some of their blends that I'd been eyeing on for a while.
As a love of earl grey teas I wanted to get one of their versions of the classic, but unfortunately nothing really drew me in. Arctic Fire was one of their recommendations for something similar but not Earl Grey. It's quite sweet but it's really delicious!
Monk Pear was actually a tea that my friend picked up and upon smelling it I knew I needed to get it. I love earl greys and especially when they have a Jasmine undertone tooヽ(´▽｀)ノ
I also picked up a few tea strainers just because I didn't have any at home, nor did I have a teapot that could strain loose leaf tea. The ones at T2 we're a little out of my price range but when I looked at the Kitchen supplies store they were only $3 each so I picked up the one with the teapot attached.
I've found that this year has place a lot of things in perspective for me. Whilst I've discovered new hobbies and interests I've also found that I need to better balance the way in which I go about things. With the new semester coming up and I'm still working I need to know how to manage everything more effectively, something that I struggle with. Here's to a better 2015!
